GEORGIA SUPREME CRICKET LEAGUE
PLAYER
DISCIPLINE
The Georgia Supreme Cricket League will continue to strive towards creating a 'trouble
free' environment for all players and umpires. To this end, the GSCL Committee has made a table setting out the Standard
Tariff of Warnings and suspensions.
With effect from the start of the 2007 season,
all offences will carry
a minimum of a one-match suspension and only
in exceptional circumstances will the Disciplinary Committee consider that a "warning only" is appropriate.
The Georgia Supreme Cricket League wishes to stress
that its aim is not to reduce cricket provided to players, but hopes that stronger management of dissent and other related
issues will drive the right behavior and show that our league really has the SPIRIT OF CRICKET
The Georgia Supreme Cricket League wishes
once again to remind all players, clubs and the captains on the field of play of their responsibilities with conducting
themselves in the proper manner at all times.

The umpires, on the Standard Report
Form shall report all offences in writing. Before leaving the ground, the umpires shall notify the player, and a representative
of both clubs their intention to submit a report.
A copy of the report should be
sent to the League Secretary as soon as practical and no later than 5 days after the event. The umpires should keep a copy
of the report.
Should a club accept the Umpires
Report and take action themselves against the offending player in line with the above, they shall notify the League Secretary
of their actions any of the length of the suspension imposed and its starting date. The Disciplinary
Committee will take into account this action and, if satisfied, take no further action other than to record the facts and
ensure the suspension was implemented.
